Terms of Service
The terms that govern your use of our administrative and concierge assistance service.
Effective September 5, 2026. Last updated September 5, 2026.
These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) form an agreement between you and E Tag Renew (“we,” “us,” or “our”). They apply every time you use this website or submit a request for assistance. By submitting a request or making a payment, you confirm that you have read and accepted these Terms.

1.What we do
We provide administrative and concierge assistance with Florida vehicle registration renewal requests. In practice, that means we:
- Collect the information needed for a renewal request from you.
- Review that information for obvious errors before anything is submitted.
- Prepare the paperwork, including a power of attorney form authorizing us to act on your behalf for this limited purpose.
- Where you have asked us to, collect the government registration charges and remit them to the appropriate Florida agency on your behalf.
- Submit your request through normal, publicly available channels and keep you updated at every step.
- Forward any documents or credentials we receive back to you.
2.What we do not do
- We are not a government agency. We do not issue registrations, decals, plates, or titles. Only the State of Florida can do that.
- We do not have special access. We use the same publicly available channels any member of the public can use. We do not have privileged, automated, or expedited access to any government system.
- We are not a law firm and we do not provide legal, tax, or insurance advice.
- We do not control the outcome. Whether a renewal is approved, and how long it takes, is decided by the State of Florida and the relevant county office, not by us.
- We cannot resolve holds we did not create — for example unpaid tolls, citations, insurance lapses, emissions or inspection requirements, or a suspended registration. If one of these blocks your renewal, we will tell you and explain what we understand needs to happen.
3.Eligibility and your account
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract. You may submit a request as a guest, or create an account to keep your requests and documents in one place.
If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your sign-in details confidential and for everything done through your account. Tell us right away if you believe someone else has accessed it.
4.Your responsibilities
You agree that:
- Every piece of information you give us is accurate, current, and your own — or belongs to someone who has authorized you to act for them.
- You are the registered owner of the vehicle, or you have the owner’s permission to request a renewal on their behalf.
- You will respond promptly if we ask you for a missing document or a clarification. A request cannot move forward while it is waiting on you.
- You will not use our service for any unlawful purpose, or to renew a registration you have no right to renew.
Submitting false information, or requesting a renewal for a vehicle you are not authorized to act on, is grounds for us to cancel the request immediately and to report it where the law requires.
6.Charges, and how they are separated
Your total is always made up of two clearly distinct kinds of money:
- Government registration charges — Collected by Florida Registration Assist and paid to the appropriate Florida agency on your behalf. These amounts are set by the State of Florida, not by us, and we do not keep any part of them.
- Administrative service fee — Retained by Florida Registration Assist. This is what you are paying us for our work. It is separate from, and in addition to, the government charges.
These two amounts appear as separate line items everywhere: on the checkout screen, on your receipt, in our emails to you, and in our records. Full detail is in our Service Fee Disclosure.
Government charges shown before submission are an estimate. The actual amount is confirmed by the State. If the actual amount differs from the estimate, we handle the difference as described in our Refund Policy.
7.Payment
Payment is taken by card at the end of the request flow. Card details are entered directly with our payment processor and never reach our servers or our database.
Your request is not submitted until payment is confirmed. If a payment fails or is disputed, we may pause or cancel the request.
If a chargeback is filed on a payment that included government charges we have already remitted, you remain responsible for that remitted amount.
8.Timing
Quick Processing Time Of Your Request Same Day We Post Every Update To Your Case Timeline As It Happens
No guarantees on timing
If your registration is close to expiring, please allow as much time as possible, and consider whether going directly to a county office is the better choice for you.
9.Cancellation and refunds
You may cancel before we have submitted your request to the State. What we can refund depends on how far along the request is. The full breakdown — including how government charges are treated separately from our service fee — is in our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
10.Your information
We collect the minimum information needed to prepare and submit a renewal request. We do not ask for your Social Security number, and we do not ask you to upload a photo of your driver license. How we handle what we do collect is described in our Privacy Policy.
11.Disclaimers and limits on our liability
Our service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by Florida law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
Our total liability to you for any claim relating to a request is limited to the administrative service fee you paid us for that request. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including citations, late fees, penalties, towing, or loss of use of a vehicle.
Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited, and nothing here limits your rights under applicable consumer protection law.
12.Indemnity
You agree to hold us harmless from claims arising out of information you gave us that was inaccurate, out of a vehicle you were not authorized to act on, or out of your breach of these Terms.
13.Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. The effective date at the top of this page always shows the current version. Changes apply to requests submitted after the effective date; the version in force when you submitted a request continues to govern that request.
14.Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Florida.
Before starting any formal proceeding, please email us at support@etagrenew.com. Most issues are resolved quickly once we can see the request.
