Florida Registration Assist is an independent, privately owned company that provides administrative and concierge assistance with Florida vehicle registration renewal requests. We are not a government agency, not a law firm, and we are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting under the authority of any state or federal agency. Government registration charges are set by the State of Florida and are itemized separately from our administrative service fee. You may complete a registration renewal yourself directly with the State of Florida at no additional service cost.
1.Who we are
E Tag Renew is an independent, privately owned business. We provide administrative and concierge assistance to people who would rather have someone else handle the paperwork of a Florida vehicle registration renewal.
We are a service business, in the same way a tax preparer or a courier is a service business. What you are buying from us is convenience and administrative work.
2.We are not the government
- We are not a government agency, department, bureau, or office.
- We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, licensed by, or operating under the authority of the State of Florida, the Florida Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles department, any county tax collector, or any other state or federal agency.
- This website is not an official government website. Official Florida government sites use a .gov address. This one does not.
- We do not display government seals, emblems, or logos, and we do not describe ourselves as “official.”
- We cannot issue a registration, decal, plate, or title. Only the State of Florida can.
3.We have no special access
We submit requests through the same normal, publicly available channels that are open to any member of the public. We have no privileged connection to any government system, no automated access, no back door, and no ability to jump a queue.
Anything we can do, you can do yourself. We are doing it for you, not doing something you could not do.
4.We do not control the outcome or the timing
Approval and timing are decided entirely by the State of Florida and the relevant county office. Because of that:
- We do not promise instant, same-day, next-day, expedited, or guaranteed processing.
- We cannot guarantee that any particular renewal will be approved.
- We cannot clear a hold we did not create — unpaid tolls or citations, an insurance lapse, an emissions or inspection requirement, or a suspended registration.
Quick Processing Time Of Your Request Same Day We Post Every Update To Your Case Timeline As It Happens
5.A clean record is required before we can complete your renewal
We can only complete a registration renewal when the vehicle, its title, and the registered owner’s license are clear of any item that blocks the State of Florida from processing it. That includes, without limitation:
- Unpaid tolls or toll violations that have been sent to collections or flagged against the vehicle or plate.
- Liens on the vehicle title that have not been released, including lender liens, mechanic’s liens, or storage liens.
- Stops or holds placed on the registration, the title, or the driver’s license — for example, an insurance lapse, a suspension, a revoked registration, or an outstanding citation.
You must resolve these before we submit, or your renewal will not go through
If any toll, lien, stop, or hold exists on the vehicle, the title, or the owner’s license, you are responsible for resolving it directly with the agency that placed it. We have no access to those systems and no way to clear them on your behalf.
If your renewal cannot be completed because an unresolved toll, lien, stop, or hold was present when we submitted, no refund will be issued. The work of preparing, reviewing, and submitting your request has already been performed, and the block is not something we caused or can remove.
Before you start, please check your vehicle and driving record for any outstanding tolls, liens, or holds with the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles and your county tax collector. You can also ask your lienholder whether the lien has been released. If you are unsure, tell us up front and we will let you know whether we can proceed.
6.You can do this yourself, for free
You are never required to use a service like ours, and you never have to pay a service fee to renew a Florida vehicle registration.
You may renew directly with the State of Florida or your county tax collector, online, by mail, or in person, and pay only the government charges. Search for your county tax collector, or for the Florida Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles renewal page, to find the official options.
Our Service Fee Disclosure sets out exactly what our fee covers so you can decide whether it is worth it to you.
8.Not legal, tax, or insurance advice
We are not a law firm, an accounting firm, or an insurance agency, and nothing on this website is legal, tax, or insurance advice. If your situation involves a dispute, a lien, a suspension, or a title problem, please speak to a qualified professional or to the relevant agency directly.
9.Where this disclaimer appears
We repeat this disclaimer wherever it matters, not just here: in the footer of every page, inside the request flow, on the review and payment screens, on your receipt, and in the emails we send you. That is deliberate.
If you ever see us, or anyone claiming to represent us, imply a government connection, please tell us at support@etagrenew.com. We take that seriously.
